SSRS - Report Server Authentication (SQL2008 R2)

Hi all Not to long ago i posted a similar issue, but still having no luck with accessing the Report Server. Whenever i try to access the Report Server URL (http://localhost/ReportServer) it prompts for a username and password. I am logged on with a Administrator account which is added to the SQLServerReportServerUser group. The SQL Server Reporting Services (MSSQLSERVER) starts up with the Network Service account. How can i access the Report Server URL?? Thx

If you go to the configuration manager (on the server) and then click on the Web service URL link, what do you see.

It takes me to the link, then prompts for a username and password.

I finally got it right. In the RsReportServer.config file edit Authentication type to RSWindowsNTLM

Have you looked in the error logs for the Report Server? Is there anything in there to indication. Here is a link to msdn and SSRS authentication that may shine some light. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb283249.aspx
