How to identify the no. of transactions

How to identify the no. of transactions per second ? Is there any DMV or any other scripts available to identify this ?

There are performance counters for this metric. These can be viewed using perfmon, or by querying the DMV sys.dm_os_performance_counters ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms187743.aspx). Transactions/sec is a counter under the databases object ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms189883.aspx) For example: select object_name, counter_name, instance_name, cntr_value from sys.dm_os_performance_counters where counter_name = N'Transactions/sec';
