Master Data Services configuration manager

I installed "Cumulative update package 3 for SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2" for the issue " http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2699687" as microsoft suggested, which adds a Master Data Services configuration manager, I have no idea what to do or configure. Do I need to configure anything on this services? I am lost as to how to proceed at this point. Can anyone please suggest?
