i need help with bcp connection to my sql server

PLEASE COULD SOMEONE HELP ME; BCP COULD NOT CONNECT TO SQL SERVER BUT MY SQL SERVER IS ON AND WINDOWS AUTHENCATION IS ALLOWED BUT I COULD NOT USE BCP TO TRANSFER A TEXT TO POPULATE A TABLE IN MY MOVIE DATABASE. PLEASE COULD ANYONE HELP;

Yes i tried to change the authentication protocol to tcp at the config manager but still could not connect to the server via bcp .any help please.

Is Named Pipes active on the server?

You could try to change authentication protocol to TCP/IP.

Yes named pipe is enabled on the server.
