Central Management Server - Multi Domains

How does everyone else utlize CMS with multiple domains and servers behind firewalls? Do you have multiple CMS's or did you find away to use trusts to have a single CMS? Also did you run into any issues with security with CMS open to servers in DMZ's or behind stricter firewalls?

Very good question. I am not part of such setup now, but I remember there were quite a few issues while implementing such. So they started off with multiple CMSs for multiple domains but do not know how well it went. IIRC, the main issue was somehow related to Auditing.

I guess there is limited support out there with CMS.

My experience is that unless you have a trust between the domains, you will have to have multiple CMS's. CMS uses AD Authentication. It would have been great to have SQL Authentication as a configuration option but I can understand why it wasn't built that way.
