Is LightSwitch Useless? I have used it to create a GUI to my SQL AZURE database, but there is no generated C# code go look at. Without this, I cannot easily customize what I want to do.

I don't speak LigthSwitch. From what I've seen, I'm sure the answer to your question is "No". But as I don't speak LigthSwitch, I couldn't fill you in on any details. So instead, I'll post you a blog link, where I think you'll be able to find the answer to your question and a lot of other LigthSwitch information. Jan Van Der Haegen has a LigthSwitch blog and he seems to know what he's writing about: http://janvanderhaegen.wordpress.com/ Finally, I must question your statement that it's seeing generated C#-code that makes it possible to customize. From the little I know about LigthSwitch - it's NOT seeing C#-code that makes it easy to build and customize apps...

LightSwitch is extremely powerful and extensible. You should check this link with the how-to videos at the bottom to get a feel of it: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/gg604823.aspx And LightSwitch VS Solution Explorer offers 2 types of views: Logical and File. You should choose File View if you want to see the typical source files, folders etc.

did you right click on one of the screens and select "view code"?
