Opening Access 2007 file from XP OS after File Transfer to Windows 7 with Access 2010

I used Windows File Transfer to copy all my files from an XP computer running MS Office 2007 onto a computer with a Windows 7 OS and MS Office 2010 professional. A Practice Management database program which was initially created in MS Access 2003 and operated hassle free on the XP computer in MS Access 2007 cannot be opened on the new Windows 7 computer. When I try to open the program, a blank 'Form View' pane appears which used to be the background to the log on username and password boxes. I am not an IT person at all so if anyone has any ideas as to how I can access the database program I will need simple step-by-step instructions. Thanks for your help in advance. Craig

Sadly we are unlikely to be able to help you here as we are not a dedicated Access forum. If you search for "Access Support Forum" in your favourite internet search engine then you will find plenty of links to places that may be able to help you.

Good luck!
