Need information regarding the Security patch of SQL Server

Hi All,

I have to apply the Security patches on my SQL Server 2005,2008 and 2008 R2 version. But i am not able find which are latest patches availavle for these version.

Can you tell me from where i can get these information and which are latest patches available.

Generally there are Service Packs and Cumulative updates/ hotfixes which also include the security patches. So try to search for SQL Server service packs (SP) and Cumulative updates (CU) and you will get enough information. Mind you, CUs/hotfixes are something not tested as much as SPs. So, many people apply them only if related to their environment. Last but not least testing should be done before applying any of them in production.
