Need to find expiration date

hello All, i need to find out the sql server expiration date for sql server 2005 can any one please help in this regards.

hello what i mean is to find the expiration of the sql server 2005 which was installed on our server. will there be any need to extend the licence of the sql server please suggest.

If you mean when does the product stop being supported - go here http://support.microsoft.com/lifecycle/?p1=2855 to work out the date, depending on your current version.

As you can see SQL 2005 is out of mainstream support (ended 12 Apr 2011), but is still under Extended support until 2016


Edit following on from OP clarification

Once you have purchased a licence, there is no need to renew, and there is no expiration.
