SSRS Install

Is it really as simple to install SSRS in SQL Server 2008 r2 Standard Edition by using the setup CD and adding new features. Also, are ther any limitations to using SSRS in the standard edition rather than the enterprise edition?

In my experience, yes it is that easy. Configuration is not that much more difficult. One of the Standard/Enterprise issues that I have run into in the past is being able to have a single repository for multiple RS's. This may have changed, or I sure could have been doing it wrong. I would double check it before you took my word for it.

Enterprise Edition can scale out and participate in HA whereas Standard Edition cannot.

Thanks Greg. The fact that EEdition can scale out and participate in HA is really not an issue in our shop. It looks like the SSRS answer is "no problem."
