SSIS XMl Config Multiple connections

Hi,

I have one configuration file that I want to use for multiple packages. However these packages have a few common connections and a few connection manager which are not common among them. So while I execute the package I am getting error that connection can not be found. Error: The connection "" is not found......

So, is it a must that all connection that I specify in the config file should be present in all packages? or there is a workaround? any help appreciated..

I guess I have to Use two (or more than two) config files , one would be shared (with the shared elements) whereas the other will only bear the "unique" entries.
