SSIS package to replace a string inside a text file

Hi I have a SSIS package to load up a text file into a table, recently this package stopped working due to a bad strings in the file. how I can remove those bad strings? the bad strings I'd like to remove off the flat file is <@> Thanks

can you give us some more information about the flat file? Is it comma seperated, is there a text qualifier etc.

And where is the package failing? If you can read the file then you might want to try a Derived Column transformation and use the replace expression replace(value,'<@>','').

If it failing to read the file, then you might have to look at fixing it before hand with a script.
