Management Studio won't allow me to connect to the databases.... I open SSMS and I get the following error....
The log for database 'tempdb' is not available. (Microsoft SQl Server, Error: 9001)
When I try to view the logs i get this error...
"Database 'msdb' cannot be opened due to inacesible files or insufficient memory space or disk space. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 945)
Your suggestions would be appreciated. I checked the drives and it does not appear like we are short on space at all. Thanks for your help.

Have the permissions for the folders or the files been changed? The SQL Server service needs access at the O/S level and the account is subject to security and permissions constraints as any other account.
