MS SQL 2005 Express Edition Installation Error

HI,

Issue : While installing SQL 2005 express edition below error is coming:-

"The setup has encountered an unexpected error while installing perfomance counters.

The error is -1073741790

Please HELP?

A quick google of the error message pointed to this KB article about installing SQL 2005.

The install routine cannot deal with you installing SQL Server default instances into certain foldernames. Read through the KB article and see if that is the case you are encountering.
