MSDB became suspect in sql server 2000 and the MSDB backup was taken from other office database and restored, after that in services sql server agent log on the domain and the password was given, but it never get started I get the error.

Modify the service account to use the right login and password. You can do this through the Configuration manager. still the problem persists.

Hmmmm... I'm not sure. You might want to try rebuilding MSDB. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd207003.aspx
