How to choose multiple values for parameter in ssrs2008

I have created ssrs 2008 report in which i had to create drop down menu for databases .. and what I did is ... just created the parameter(@Database) and changed the connection string of DataSource like

[="Data Source=servername;Initial Catalog="+Parameters!Database.Value]

I got the drop down menu for databases (the values i specify in parameter)

This is working fine when I select only one database at a time. But I am getting error when I selected multiple databases. It gives me error

--[The error has occurred during report processing]

Can some1 help me in this.

Thanks

You are doing it the wrong way. You cannot assign multiple Initial Catalogs (Initial DB) in the Connection String. If you are preparing a report for one or more than one databases, then you should consider the master DB (preferably) OR one specific DB as the source. In that database gather all the information based upon your database parameter, and render that output on the report. Cheers.

New code box

There's a new way to format code on the site - the red speech bubble logo will automatically format T-SQL for you. The original code box is still there for XML, etc. More details here.
