How to find when was a database last time accessed in sql 2000?

Hi,
Is there a way to find when was a database last time accessed/used in sql 2000?
and by whom?

Accessed? Nope. No easy way. Unless you already have an events trace set up, or you're logging logins to the server, there's no real way to know that out of the box. Same applies to 2005, 2008, 2008R2 & 2012. You have to set up specific auditing/monitoring to know that.
