ReportBuilder 3 - Update a Parameter with an Action

Hello all, I am building a financial overview report for project managers, in one section I have monthly expenditure data. In another section I'd like to have the details of the expenditures (specifics)...

I can get the subreport to display, but what I am trying to do is update the parameter automatically (when the PM clicks on June 2011 for example, detail for June 2011 would appear in the subreport)... however I don't see any way of making the "textbox action" for the period be able to update the parameter...

The only options I could have is to go to other report (which I don't want, as I'd like to have this on the same page), or go to URL (no), or go to bookmark (? probably not)

.. I would think that this is possible, anybody have any advice on how I could do this, any help would be appreciated... Thanks, Sheep

I don't know how to tell you the specifics, but Simon Sabin's recent PASS presentation on Slicers was amazing and shows how to make SSRS interactive. You could probably glean how to accomplish that by using his techniques.
