@Redder - I am not too sure what you are trying to achieve with this process. The explanation regarding swapping Field1 for FieldN is quite confusing.
Maybe you could try re-phrasing the question, telling us what it is you are trying to achieve. It would be even better if you could supply us with table creation scripts, a set of sample data and the expected output.
