SSAS - Row level limitation in pivot table

Hi,

I have created pivot cube using Sqlserver 2005 (SSAS). The cube successfully refreshed with 5 dimensions in Excel 2007. Since the same is not working in Excel 2000. Find the below error message while accessing the cube in Excel 2000.

"Excel cannot display this one, bec rows has more than 65536 or columns has more than 16336 columns...."

but the cube does not exceeds the mentioned limits [ have identified thru excel 2007].

Am waiting for valuable reply..

You'd be surprised... If you have attributes without relationships, you may find that the system is trying to cater for every possible (and more significantly impossible) combination. If you're pulling back the Empty cells as well, then even though there's nothing there, Excel may be trying to handle those rows.
