Forefront and SQl Server 2008

We are contemplating using Microsoft ForeFrontEndpoint for antivirus/antimalware. The white papers I have read are a bit confusing. I have existing database and reporting servers that I would like to use for this install, but it appears that the install wants to place one of the databases on the server where I run the install and does not give me the option of changing the location to the database server. I understand that Forefront requires System Center Configuration Manager 2007 (SCCM)to run but I would like to have all the databases on the DB server and not on the SCCM server. Is it possible to configure Forefront this way? I understand that SCCM (formerly SMS) has its own database on it and this may be the only caveat to using ForeFront, but when I read the white papers it appears that I should be able to seperate the two. I hope I have made this clear enough for someone to constructively comment on it for me. Thank You in advance for your time and assistance
