What is SYSTEM tablespace and when is it created?

I would like to know what SYSTEM tablespace is and when it is created. Does anyone know the answer to this question?

at the time creation of database system tablespace is created if by using dbca it automatically created by the time of creation of database. if you create manually if give system tablespace or not it will create automatically. after creation of database there no command to create the system tablespace. if you losss then you can restore and recover the system tablesapce.

The system tablespace is used to store the database's own objects, such as the data dictionary.

It's created by the CREATE DATABASE command.
