Can't drag a field onto a list, in a SSRS report

I've modifying a SQL Server Reporting Services report I wrote a while ago. I added an additional data table to the dataset. Then I added a list to the SSRS report, where I want to drag the fields from the new data table to the list.

Only, Visual Studio 2010 won't let me. I click and drag, and nothing happens. Certainly nothing comes from the new data table to the list. (And, just for grins, I thought I'd trying dragging a field from the old data table to the report, and that doesn't work, either.)

OK, I give up; why isn't this working?

SSRS Reports cannot currently be created/modified in Visual Studio 2010. You have to use VS2005 for SQL2005 reports and VS 2008 for SQL 2008/R2

I believe SQL 2011 (Denali) will use the same IDE as VS 2010 for Management Studio/Reporting Solutions but not sure of backwards compatability

New code box

There's a new way to format code on the site - the red speech bubble logo will automatically format T-SQL for you. The original code box is still there for XML, etc. More details here.
