hi team , i am facing a problem, sql server is unable to start,when i have gone through the system error log and sql server error log ,i can see this error Error: 9954, Severity: 16, State: 1. how to resolve this,

This error comes from the Full Text Search daemon not running (should be part of the error message). Please check that this service is running, then try starting SQL SErver again. It could be that the service account's password has expired, or that the service has crashed and cannot start again, or the service is disabled. sqlserver , agent services, analysis services,browser, every thing is off, nothing is running, if i start to run, raising as error

If Full Text Search service isn't running, then start it, and when it has started, try launching SQL Server service. +1 That's what I said, just a little more concise.

Are you using Local System, a Local account or a Domain account to run the services under? Are there corresponding errors in the Windows Security log?
