Timeline in SSRS 2008 like in management studio

HI, does anyone now if it's possible to create a time line like the one that appears in some of the default reports in management studio 2008, the Performance Data Collectors ones.
I only manage to sort of do it with a simple chart, but I'd like to implement something more like the time line in SSMS.

This is the time line I'm referring to.

Performance Data Collector

Thanks,
Alan

I suggest you look at the following blog post:

http://blogs.msdn.com/sqlrem/archive/2006/08/30/SSMS_Reports_3.aspx

Where they've posted the source code of their standard reports. You should be able to get into them with something like BIDS and extract the bits that you need.

yhea, i found that, but those reports are from 2006 and as far as i know (i could be wrong) the time line feature was introduced in SS2008, and i haven't being able to find a more up to date report pack like that one. Thank you anyway :)

Are they not just normal line charts embedded into a grid ?

Thats what I've done to recreate it, but i don't think thats how they were done. I was hoping to find a similar implementation but no luck yet.

Ive found the rdl definitions of the standard reports here, no joy on the data collector ones yet though.
