I was working with several programs open - You Tube, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Demo9 (movie maker), when my Windows 8.1 operating system gave a me a :( message and "said" something has happened, it's being reported to Microsoft and your computer will now restart. Lost was a lot of work.
I come back from a restart and all the SQL Express 2012 instances that I had loaded with a quiet load, (I've put the code at the bottom), are in a Stopped State. I have tried to uninstall those instances and it hangs up at this point: SqlEngineConfigAction_remove_validation_Cpu64. I cannot connect to any of these instances through SSMS. I receive a "...that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections:(provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 40) and Could not open a connection to SQL Server, Error: 2. I was able to load another instance of SQL. But I need connection to the others. My installation code: processObj = Process.Start("C:\DTHSQL2012\ExtractFile\setup.exe", "/q /Action=Install /IACCEPTSQLSERVERLICENSETERMS /Hideconsole /Features=SQLEngine /InstanceName=DTH2012 /SQLSYSADMINACCOUNTS=""NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM"" /SQLSVCACCOUNT=""NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM"" /BROWSERSVCSTARTUPTYPE=""Automatic""")
